In the role of Lecturer in Business and Enterprise, you’ll predominantly be based at the Huddersfield/Waterfront campus and your focus will be on delivering outstanding teaching and learning across levels 1-3, to a wide range of students, including adults, 16–18-year-olds and those studying introductory courses.
Your key responsibilities will be delivery of classes and sessions aligned to the course and qualification specifications, in an engaging and innovative manner; using your industry experience to add to the content, contextualising it to support our student’s understanding. You will work with all department colleagues and associated departments to drive the teaching of students and their support toward excellence.
Ideally, you’ll have a L5+ industry related qualification (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in working in the Business or related industry sectors. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively, engage with young people and demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
