In the role of Health and Social Care lecturer you’ll predominantly be based at the Waterfront Huddersfield site and your focus will be on creating engaging and interactive resources, delivering lessons, marking work, driving our ABC policy and promoting personal development for our leaners.     

 

Your key responsibilities will be teaching Health and Social care topics, we deliver from Level 1 to level 3. You will be responsible for marking work and ensuring quality standards are met. You will be supported by the Health and Social care team, to ensure we create opportunities and change the lives of our learners together.   You may also be required to be a Group Tutor, this would require you monitor leaners attendance, behaviour and commitment to their study programme.      

 

Ideally, you’ll have a degree in a relevant subject, as well as a teaching qualification, or have relevant industry experience and be prepared to undertake a teaching qualification.  It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and engage with young people. As learner experience is at the centre of all we do , it is an expectation you would demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
