In the role of Head of Quality, you will be based across all College campuses and provide strategic and operational leadership for quality assurance and continuous improvement across the College. Working closely with curriculum and support teams, you will ensure that standards of teaching, learning and assessment are consistently high, quality expectations are met, and learners experience inclusive, high-quality provision across all areas and provision types.

 

Your focus will be on leading and embedding the College’s approaches to quality, teaching excellence and digital innovation, ensuring that quality processes are robust, evaluative and drive meaningful improvement. You will use performance information, quality intelligence and learner feedback to identify priorities, support improvement activity and strengthen accountability, while promoting a culture of high expectations, reflection and continuous enhancement.

 

In this role, ou will support curriculum leaders in strengthening standards and improving learner outcomes, build evaluative capability within teams and sustain improvement over time. You will also provide assurance to senior leaders and stakeholders that the College meets internal and external quality, regulatory and compliance requirements, while continuing to innovate and improve the learner experience.

 

Ideally, you will have a teaching qualification and substantial experience of leading quality assurance and quality improvement within Further Education and/or Higher Education. You will bring strong leadership and analytical skills, the ability to influence and inspire others, and a clear commitment to collaboration, professionalism and continuous improvement. Throughout your work, you will demonstrate and promote the College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
