As an Inclusive Learning Manager, you will primarily be based within a designated Directorate, which will determine your main working site. In this role, you will strengthen leadership capacity and accountability for Inclusive Learning by ensuring that systems, staff practice, and service delivery are evidence informed, quality assured, and focused on continuous improvement in inclusive practice and student outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing the Inclusive Learning team, driving quality improvement and service excellence, collaborating with College colleagues and external partners, monitoring student outcomes, overseeing funding, compliance and statutory requirements, and leading staff training, coaching and development to strengthen inclusive practice across the College.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a SENDCO qualification, a teaching qualification, and GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). You will have proven experience in quality improvement, compliance management, staff coaching and development, and leading large teams. As a solution-focused leader, you will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, thrive in a changing environment, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate the College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.

Unlike many school-based SENDCO roles, this position provides the opportunity to focus on strategic leadership, quality improvement, and the development of inclusive practice across the College, without the demands of a substantial teaching timetable. You will play a pivotal role in shaping inclusive provision, coaching and developing colleagues, and driving positive outcomes for students. With 35 days annual leave plus bank holidays and closure days, which can be taken throughout the year rather than solely during school holidays, this role offers greater flexibility alongside a rewarding leadership opportunity.
