In the role of Preparation for Adulthood coach you’ll work across all our sites but will agree one as your base and your focus will be on developing and delivering action plans in conjunction with learners, staff and stakeholders to ensure that progress is made towards the outcomes within the learner’s EHCP
Your key responsibilities will be identifying strategies that can be delivered by colleagues and delivering short term programs of support to the more vulnerable students. Providing training to colleagues to they can deliver high quality interventions. You will monitor the progress being made and provide updates to the wider team.
Ideally, you’ll have Maths and English at grade 4 or equivalent (or be able to prove equivalent ability), along with a level 3 relevant SEND qualification and demonstrable experience in a similar role. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and keep accurate records, and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
